The guy is making the adapter. Actually I think he's making two up, so we can see what looks the best (as well as what works the best). Shouldn't take too long.
Yes I'm sure there's a chance of a test run in the car. Don't think it'll do all its running in around the Manchester area though, I do want it back lol. Though once it's all done I will organise some sort of mini-meet for anyone who wants to check it out.

Cool I quite like the mini meets, good to catch up with people!!
Bandit Are you going to change the exhaust/back box to release some of the extra power and let the engine breath better Steve?

be interesting to see how the standard system handles the output from the turbo conversion :thumbup1:
Should of asked on your build thread really mate

Edit: just moved it over to your topic mate

Yeah, Charlesworth think it should be fine to keep the OEM exhaust. Obviously a new exhaust may help things a bit, but after all it's not top-end power that I'm really after. I would be interested to see if it helps things lower down the rev range too, e.g. more responsive ?
Similarly, I'll be keeping the OEM cat. I may decide to swap to a high-flow cat later on down the line, but again it'll be interesting to see if I can do a before and after comparison. I'm not going down the de-cat route.

When i fitted the Veilside to mine it seemed to make quite a bit of difference lower in the rev range, but top end wise made no change,
Will the exhaust manifold and pre-cats be OK with the extra heat from the turbo mate? i know a few lads have had there pre-cats collapse under supercharger power in the past?
Thought i'd ask mate as i was having a read through again :thumbup1:

I'm using the SPC turbo manifold to replace the OEM manifold, so I won't have the OEM pre-cats any more, so should be fine.
