toxo Good luck with getting the electrical connectors, even my Toyota parts guy struggles with those. There used to be *3* books required to look up *1* connector (from its silhouette), and since they went completely digital with their parts catalogue that information is very hard to find.

I found it very easily for the IS200 via the technical workshop manual, which has a complete list of connector parts with their description and part numbers - here. Don't have one for the Tezza though, and as you're inferring it's very hard to find via the Toyota parts system.

As I said, I *hope* I don't need to go down this route though, fingers crossed !

Ah yes, something else. As I handed over my big pile of bits to Steve at Charlesworth, included in that was my work-in-progress gauge pod. I cringed with embarrassment as I produced it, since it looks *so* bad right now. It's basically a hacked-apart Impreza pod stuck onto a spare OEM dash tray with sellotape :o

I still think it'll look fine when finished, but unfortunately my expertise at procrastination means that it wasn't finished in time. I wanted to give them something to stick my gauges in, and I'll just have to finish it properly when I get the car back !

Edit - Stav and Gord can vouch for how bad it looks

Update time. First the good news. My OEM exhaust manifold has been removed, the turbo manifold installed, and the turbo placed on top with the temporary adapter. The proper stainless adapter will be made up tonight.

The bad news. There don't seem to be any injector plugs with the Supra engine, that part of the wiring loom was missing, I am told. I am trying to contact the guy who sold me the engine to see if there is any of the car left (though it may have been scrapped by now). I am also waiting to hear back from Toyota/Lexus about the Altezza part number (which I imagine will have to come from Japan). Also trying to see if Steve at Silverline can help, via Stav, since he deals in these engines.

Right now the injector plug problem isn't holding anything up, there's plenty of other work to be getting on with. For instance, the wheels are off and the rear shocks are out now.

More news as I get it !

That's quick work. I'll ask Si at Toyota whether he can help with the connectors.

np mate, silly question steve as it's probably answered somewhere in the 30pages Big Grin but what are you doing in regards to your exhaust?

Nah it's a good question Dan. This may suprise you (Moley thinks I'm insane lol) but I'm leaving it stock for now. I do intend to replace the exhaust, but Steve doesn't think it's going to limit things really for now, and I'd be interested to see how it goes with the OEM exhaust, then change the exhaust later (and possibly go for a sports cat ? I won't go for a de-cat) and see what difference it makes.

I take if you've already found this and it's no use:

That's from an RS200 Altezza

Yeah thanks, I've found that. From a quick look I don't think any of them are the fuel injector connector, though I can't be 100% sure. In that equivalent diagram for the IS200, the fuel injector plug is definitely not on there, because I do know the part number for that.
