steviewevie Nah it's a good question Dan. This may suprise you (Moley thinks I'm insane lol) but I'm leaving it stock for now. I do intend to replace the exhaust, but Steve doesn't think it's going to limit things really for now, and I'd be interested to see how it goes with the OEM exhaust, then change the exhaust later (and possibly go for a sports cat ? I won't go for a de-cat) and see what difference it makes.

It will make at least 35BHP difference - if my experience is anything to go by without a cat, with a standard cat I can only think it will be more than 35BHP. A 3" straight through is the way to go like Stav and myself.

Possibly - mine was 35BHP down due to the exhaust, and was de-catted. the OEM exhaust is designed to give back pressure, turbos don't want back pressure at all. 2 completely different animals.

I will be happy to be proven wrong - but good gains are to be had by having he correct exhaust.

I've set my Toyota parts guy off on trying to find connectors but I don't hold out much hope.

Can you identify them from this lot? Might be easier to buy from the states:

Dean, don't go out of your way, only if you're going to be near there anyway, or fancy a visit (e.g. to discuss your own car with them). I'll tell them you might drop on.

Toxo - thanks. Trouble is, stupid me didn't take a picture of the socket when I had the chance (doh !). I don't think it's any of those but can't be 100% sure.

Stav - please could you take a picture of the connector that your car uses (which will be what I need) if you get a chance ?

I've fired off some emails to various sellers of the Power Enterprise injectors to see if they can help supply the injectors.

I spoke to the guy who sold me the engine (and removed it himself from the car) via text, and he's pretty sure he sent the whole loom including those connectors. I can't see why he would have individually disconnected each injector, as opposed to either cutting the wire (and leaving the connectors in place), or unplugging the whole loom (which is what he said he did).
