So is that why a lot of manufacturers put the battery in the boot? Because there's no space with the biggest engine in up front so might as well do all models like that to make wiring simpler?

yea everything getting done sooner than expected so happy that way.
i have no idea why they put the battery in the boot maybe thats why but don't know to be honest.
i put in the boot because there is no room at the front and i could have put it at the size of the boot but just wanted it out the way so just put it where the spare wheel goes so its out the way with the fuel pump.
RAC and tyre weld will be my best friend when my tyre is punctured :lol:

thate boot has been painted black because of small bits of rust but all good now.

the struts and bits back of the lights are getting painted again for a nice smooth finish.

the side wings have been took off because the wires are getting hidden as much as possible.

the custom made bracket for the battery have been welded in so the battery does not move.
thats the bracket for the fuel pump
