My little project - IS200 Turbo
I agree, to me it shows they are making sure everything is 100% :thumbup1:
Did they say what their concerns were, was it not sitting right with the exhaust?
Yeah I think it's their attention to detail. They were concerned it was not thick enough, and would distort under heat/pressure.
Today's update is that the new (thicker) turbo flang(e) is supposed to have been made this afternoon (by an engineering firm) and be picked up tomorrow, then *hopefully* the car will make it to Noble tomorrow (Tuesday).
Apparently Noble normally have the car for 3 or 4 days to do their work.
So by the end of the week................... Get that train ticket booked:p
Well this will be a long long week for you Steve , and you will be sitting beside the phone waiting for Noble to phone you :Mobile::Mobile::Mobile:
So will it be all finished when you get it back from Noble ???
I hope that this is the last week then does that mean that the exhaust has been fitted aswell now? How come noble need the car for so long?
excellent news mate, fingers crossed for you
Thanks guys
Russell, the downpipe is now more or less fitted, yes. I say more or less, because there's no point doing it all up when the turbo flang(e) is being replaced, so once that's sorted it'll all be fixed up and it'll be ready to roll.
Moley, yes, the car will come back from Noble and then just get a bit of a polish at Charlesworth, then I should be able to pick it up :w00t:
Great stuff mate !!
Then a drive up to Scotland would be a good idea, your car will be fed up seeing the rolling road by then and would like a change
