Hmm, Vauxhall Insignia on the dyno ...
Just spoke to Charlesworth. No news from Noble yet, the mapping is ongoing (as expected). But Simon, who drove the car over to Noble, was very complimentary about how the car drove over there (albeit unmapped), using phrases like "very smooth" and "pulls like a train". He also commented how the fuel consumption on the unmapped cars is usually horrendous, but mine was actually fine.
The rear suspension seems harsh apparently, but that may well be just a result of the car settling on the new coilovers, and can be checked and tweaked as necessary when it returns (the coilover damping is adjustable).
Fingers crossed that it comes back even better from Noble ! :w00t:

yea my coilovers were harsh, so I have them on the medium setting and all is good - not to hard not soft. They will take a while to settle in anyway.
yeah good news steve i read all this thread yesterday-i kinda put it off until i had the time to read it all in one go to get the whole picture so to speak-it sounds like a really well thought out car-cant imagine how excited you are at seeing the fruition of all this thought, planning, money blood sweat and tears - looking forward to hearing how much you love it
Thanks guys. I'm still hoping to arrange a mini-meet, either for the journey back in the car itself, or soon after I get it back (or both ?). Also I will certainly take *lots* of pics and post them up. I've asked for the dyno graphs from Noble, which I will post. I also plan to take the car down to Surrey Rolling Road (very close to me) to get them to dyno it too.
Hoping for more news on the car later on today.
