Well thats some great news Steve, so do you mean its been mapped to use 95 ron ??

Or could you have got 2 separate maps so you could use 95 and 99 if you wanted ??

its difficult to do that properly Moley, you have to map it once, then change the fuel over (either drain the tank fully, or run it out, then fill with 99 a couple of times to make sure its all 99) and map again.

It would potentially be better yes as I have seen a test done on three car with different petrol inc, 95 ron, BP ultimate and V power and on a standard performance car (in this case an Impreza) the v power was best increasing the bhp by 15.

A lot more difference. Remember RON is not a measurement of how potent the fuel is but how much abuse it can take before it self ignites. Not all ECUs are as good at knock control to be able to advance / retard the timing suitably either. My car just misfires under any boost on 95RON for example...
