The thing to look out for is if the fuelling goes to lean (i.e. high value in terms of the AFR). If the mixture is very lean and subjected to high load, then that's bad news - it's likely to damage the engine. Normally it's only very lean under low loading, and goes richer (smaller number on the gauge, i.e. more fuel) as the load increases.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

steve is it not possible to get the gauges you need set up on an oem satnav type screen at all- a bit like the iphone obd app in theory but obviously youd need to source your info from other sensors-if you get what i mean

Good point, yes, you can get things like the Camp2 to do that, like Rabster has. I don't have a satnav already though, so it would be expensive to add in, and I'd much rather have some actual gauges anyway.

It's a good suggestion though, and one that might work for some people.

You could use the HKS CAMPII system like Rabster has in his, but its very expensive

A cheaper option to use is the zeitronix system. you can fit under the seat heating switches or get a JDM dash vent and fit it in there.
