The Subaru garage I went to when I had a Legacy had a wheel nut that wound on to the locking nut and cut into it, then turn the nut the way to undo the offending nut and it removed broken/stuck locking wheel nuts!!

totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

Yeah the trouble with that is because of the way it is split, there's a risk that doing that will end up tearing the rest of that bit off, leaving an almost-impossible-bit-to-remove-but-stuck-fast bit behind !

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Here are my "suprise" extra mods.

Firstly, a bit I didn't know they even did - new section of the exhaust between the downpipe and the cat :

And here's the bit that I had known about but had completely forgotten ! Can you spot it ?

No, not the rather obvious ARBs (which were on there already). But the stove-enamelled sump ! Complete with oil temp sensor going into the sump plug.

Well if you are welding it up, you better make sure your wheel is protected before you start and it would also be a good idea to try and remove some of the paint / coating on the wheel nut.

Lexus IS200 Mods--TTE Supercharger, Tein Superstreet Coilovers & EDFC, 6000K HID Lights, HKS Silent High Power Exhaust, DBA Front Discs, Kenwood DNX9240 Head Unit, 19" Rims, TRD Kit, FIGS Bonnet Struts, Greddy Pillar Pod & Defi Gauges, TTE Red ARBS . And Been To WIM twice

Those are the ones I've got, they have an inverse thread so you do them up in the direction you would normally undo a nut, as you do that they bite down onto the wheelnut and undo it. They are great and make a mockery of most locking wheel nuts (except the really well designed ones).

Screwfix do a set of locking wheel nut extractors? CLICK ME? not sure if it would be worth seeing if they will do the job mate? probably need to measure the outside of the broken nut to see if they would fit over it?

Lexus IS200 Sport Navigator (Now being stripped again)

The car still OK steve?

You could also roll the arches with a metal post like that youtube video :Chair:
