Thanks guys.

Moley - how many of Mrs Moley's cakes is it worth ?

lexynik - yeah, it doesn't feel any slower before the turbo comes in, not to me at least. I guess the difference is small. As soon as you put your foot down because you need to use a bit more power, then you're straight into when the turbo starts to pull, anyway.

Something else good that happened today - Whilst I was at SRR, I managed to find there is a guy who works about 100 yards away who is an e-Manage mapper (my car runs the GReddy e-Manage Ultimate), and I'm going to get him to plug his laptop in while we go for a test drive sometime soon. Then I should be able to easily reproduce the "lumpiness" I get on a very slight throttle, which I suspect will be easily fixed with a small adjustment in the map (a bit more fuel needed, I would guess).

DaveEdin Car looks real good, Steve, you must be well happy with the drive yeah?

Thanks. Oh yes :w00t:

DJ Wozza I get the same code on an almost weekly basis, more often than not when I am stuck in traffic or just driving slowly & quite gentle with the throttle. Yes I know it's a shock, but I do drive like that when road conditions demand it !! I just re set it using the scangauge in my glovebox. It has only been since the Pr0lex manifold was fitted. My car still passes the emissions test when warmed up enough Smile

Interesting, maybe it's the lack of pre-cats thing. Planning to fit an O2 simulator soon to get rid of the problem. Mine also comes on typically when I'm cruising more slowly than I was a bit earlier, e.g. in roadworks on the motorway.

Steve mine comes up with that code because i only run 2 02 sensors one in the

turbo down pipe and one where the cat was. The plug is still the but nothing in it

the heater wire was wired into the o2 sensor that is still there but the car did not like starting so i took it out now the car starts fine. but i get a lumpiness at about 2500 rpm to 3000 rpm on light throttle as well?

Things done :- SPC turbo kit (custom), Blueflame cat back with custom tip, B&M shortshift, grooved discs all round, Mintex pads all round, OEM wheels in white,Denso ik22s, Calipers painted black,04 spec rear lights, Tein basic coilovers, Helix organic clutch, Fan washer jets, late spec headlights (dark), Carbon bonnet, Hotchkis anti roll bars, Front arm rest, Top box from late spec.

Have you thought to use a mechanical O2 spacer initially? It is much a cheaper solution. I had the same problem "Check engine light" when i fitted a racing cat on my car. The problem was solved by fitting a mechanical O2 spacer.
