On sunday i meet up with steviewevie and brought a k&n panel filter off him

Fitted it monday afternoon and reset the ecu and now done 50 miles so it relearns but stopped myself booting it.

Love the sound it make now.

Next think on the list is HIds
bee sting aerial
And a HKS exhaust

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

The better the car takes in cool air the better the fuel return.

The reason to reset the ecu is so the car memory reset your driving mode and will look at what changes has come into effect.

should i reset my ecu? as i get the feelin the previous owner very rarely went into the vvti? how do u reset the ecu?

theres a couple of different panel filters on ebay. do i need the square one or the l shaped one?

Normally l shape but check whats there already.

If you disconnect the battery for 20 minutes this will reset the ecu

i wont loose any settings or anything will , i know the radio doesnt have one but it wont disturb anything will it?

Don't think it affects anything on the is200 models except the radio station setting but it does on the other model cars like the sc ls gs

If you have a after market alarm this could be effected
