My little project - IS200 Turbo
I've already got an uprated MAP sensor though, not sure the standard one is still connected, I presumed not ? :confused1:
Thanks, I will look into it. It does feel like the car is going into a "limp mode", though I get no OBD-II codes from it.
look all our car did the same, you still have the std map sensor being used this nis why when it see's boost when it shouldnt it gos into limp home.as i say its in the mapping or get another map sensor to replace the std one.
the same as us we got no codes as well.but that is the problem we managed to fix it through the mapping.
oh why havnt i got my outlaw membership yet????i payed weeks ago.

Thinking out loud here, I wonder if the uprated MAP sensor isn't connected up properly ? Right now I think (but could be wrong) it's wired into just the e-Manage Ultimate, so maybe it needs wiring into the OEM ECU too ?
Edit - wouldn't I get an OBD-II code if the OEM ECU is putting the car into limp mode ? Isn't that what happens on supercharged IS200s, e.g. if the Black Box fails ? Or is there no code in that case too ?
Jay@buttonmoon is not an outlaw account the buddy8 account is can you can confirm which account you are using seems odd having 2 for one user as for the membership pack I thought had got to you for that I'm sorry if you had said at the ace cafe meet we would have issued one straight away there.
We will get a replacement in the post to you this week unless you are at castle coombe
Sorry steve to go off topic
Just had a peer under my bonnet for my own education on this, and I can see the OEM MAP sensor there, hooked into the GReddy (uprated) MAP sensor too.
Well, that's what I (naively ?) thought too, I would have thought the uprated MAP sensor simply replaces the OEM one. I *could* be looking at the wrong thing under the bonnet, but I'm pretty sure the OEM MAP sensor is still there and connected.
I really don't know. Will have to speak to Charlesworth/Noble about it. I will also speak to the local guy who is going to look at my map (as opposed to MAP lol) for me.
