thats a good question i know there are some loom variations as when Bandits car decided to have a heated moment. it took wayne a while to get a loom that would match....

26-06-2019, 04:12 AM #4Did any of the sensors change location/type? I've got some options coming up and one of them is putting a low mileage 1gfe into my IS (cheaper than fixing my current 200k one) or breaking the whole car and getting a GS430.
non of the sensors move though as fair as i can tell, so as toxo says use your loom and sensors and your laughing. i used most when i fitted the gte engine

I've found a dirt cheap low mileage (sub 40k) 1gfe engine with everything still on it, as my engine currently has two oil leaks, intermittent oil pressure problems, the alternator and water pump are on the way out AND it's ~15k overdue a timing belt. I just want a quick fix to get another 10k out of it before it gets a heart transplant.

Considering a GS430 to use for a bit to see whether I like the lexus auto-box/v8 combo, not going to have trouble reselling a 2.5k GS430 in mint condition for the same price I bought it.
