Hi All, only had my charger fitted for a few months now, problem is,sometimes when i go to put my toe down it hesitates. Now i dont know if its down to the belt slipping or a fueling issue. I'm running a 800 belt at the moment, but cant find a 790 anywhere only a 788,would that be ok?. Or could it be the FCD, any help would be great, as it is b***dy annoying. :cursing:Cheers

Hmm normally about right.

I'd try a new belt but I'd suggest getting one of Patriks black boxes as well.

I'll see if i can squeeze a 788 on it, then i'll try patrik and see if he's got any of his black boxes left. I need to sort something out as it's driving me mad. Cheers

A 788 belt will not fit.

I got a 5PK790 belt from Wood Auto Supplies. I think they need to special order it and you take a hit on the delivery charges but they got me one no problem. Very easy to deal with too.

if your belt is "tight" its not the belt, its the ECU, the standard black box does that sometimes also.. norm whan at lower RPM.

I never noticed that problem with the silver ECU though.

be aware not to overtighten the belt - there is no need to

Hi Rob, I have managed to source a 5pk790 (which i am waiting for now) and one of patrik's black boxes, so i will see how it behaves after i change them round, can't be any worse!. Anyway got a new problem, EML has come on with code P0420, which i believe is the O2 sensor behind the cat. Its a 200 cel cat which has only been on for 10 weeks. Not happy .
