Just trying to find out some information on this,I am considering doing an 2jz-gte swap into my is200 and all I've found is conflicting information. Has anyone on OJC done this before, don't get me wrong I love my charged is200 but the time has come for a change. Need more power!!
I just want to be prepared for anything really.

go NA-T on an IS300. It will be cheaper, easier and not involve an engine swap. There are plenty of NA-T supras that run just as much power as a GTE with the same money put in to it.

NA-T on the 2JZ is a well proven and documented route, there are even off the shelf manifolds for the GE.
