The problem Lexus has is that they're Lexus - they're seen as dull and dependable, not exciting and awesome!
But if the car is as good as it seems to be, then the price tag won't be an issue - if this is SLR good, it should be SLR money, not 911 money just because it's a Lexus

I don't agree personally, it's not all about pedigree, look what Pagani did with the Zonda - they went from nowhere to respected supercar manufacturer with the launch of one £300k supercar.

But if the car is as good as it seems to be, then the price tag won't be an issue - if this is SLR good, it should be SLR money, not 911 money just because it's a Lexus
