Got my TRD side skirts back today all freshly painted and looking really nice:thumbup1: want to get them fitted a.s.a.p but was wondering where to get the brackets from, i'm going to stick them on with D.S tape aswell as screwing/bolting them into the holes provided, so do I need to goto the dealer for the brackets or are they universal, there is one still on the skirts which i've took a pic of so you know what ones I mean:biggrin:

Thanks guys:thumbup1:

Not best pics soz.

Did Bandit not get some other kind of fixings that he used.
Might be worth a PM.
When I got mine fitted I did have the fitting kit and I also got them bonded on, because they are never coming off again

Lexus IS200 Mods--TTE Supercharger, Tein Superstreet Coilovers & EDFC, 6000K HID Lights, HKS Silent High Power Exhaust, DBA Front Discs, Kenwood DNX9240 Head Unit, 19" Rims, TRD Kit, FIGS Bonnet Struts, Greddy Pillar Pod & Defi Gauges, TTE Red ARBS . And Been To WIM twice

If you use the strong 3M tape designed for this sort of thing, there's no way it'll be coming off, you won't need any bolts.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Gord Andy you don't see any holes on the under side, if you offer the side skirt to the side of your car, where the hole should be, it will be soft rubber, its a round hole under the soft rubber, when you fit the plastic bit, you have to cut the rubber to see the hole, this hole is what the plastic thing sits in mate,
i would not use self tappers as you will be going through the floor of your car, ask Chris how he put his on, but bonding is your best bet if you don't have the rest of the plastic fitting kit mate.

If you pm me your number i will/can give you a call mate

Right cheers Gord so you have to make space for the fixing kit anyway so any type will do provided it's the correct size, then i'd just need to cut a space slide the bracket in and screw up simples:laugh: thanks mate i'll have a butchers tomorrow and PM you if I need some advice:thumbup1::biggrin:

Still think bonding them on ( if you dont want them off ever again ) is the best idea, that way you wont have any gaps for water to get in between the skirts and the body of the car

Marsdendean Only problem with bonding, if god forbid you had an accident, and want to sell the car as bits.

I used 3M VHB tape when i fitted mine, and the 2 bolts at either end of the skirts,

If you do cut the holes out underneath the car make sure you fill the holes or you'll get water going inside the sill's!!

Mine never moved when i fitted them with just the VHB tape and the end bolts, and took some pulling off when i removed them :thumbup1:
