The bit of thread that you can see was just to hold it, so I could mark the final position before I took it into work to weld it up.

Ok here are some pics of the brake stopper that I made for Stav.

And I'm not car mechanically minded so dont know what the part that moves is called :Fish: :Fish: :lol:

ahh i see so keeps it in place instead of forcing it forward, what ever it is, makes sense now !

Will take a pic of it now tomorrow.
Basically if you look in the engine bay and get someone to press the brake hard you will see the cylinder moving slightly in/out up/down this just stops it doing that, giving you a better brake feel.
Must say Mr Mole your a genius for making it.
