ive been offered a toyota altezza rs200 for all but £2500 its done just over 100k with history and is very clean.
i know a little but would like to know if its genuine as ive been told many were registered as rs200's but werent and were the lesser powerful 190hp one.
the car is 9years old and has the 6speed manual box.
its got beams wrote on the rocker cover (not sure what it means mind lol) and rs200 in red with trd on the grill.

19-04-2017, 11:14 AM #3my mate (gary sks plym ) has the is200 i notice the altezza has alot few toys i.e manual seats no heating on the seats and a few other bits and bobs, as cars does anyone know what they are like to drive? the beams engine tunned by yamaha has to be good im guesing??
is this rs200 advertised on the net somewhere? so we all can take a look and see if its worth it

yh the is200 se, has it all, spec wise, just not the beams engine, i would rather buy the is200 se, then the rs200, but i prefer spec then power,
is this rs200 advertised on the net somewhere? so we all can take a look and see if its worth it

Saraj normally if its got the beam written, then its the 200bhp+ version,
both the rs200 and as200 have Beams written on the engine cover.
the rs200 is the 3sge engine as used in the mr2 and celica.
if you click me and look at post #11 you can see the 2 variants of the BEAMS engine :thumbup1:

if its got a small 4cylinder with beams rote on the rocker cover its the real deal.
having seen the engine on this one i know its not a big old 6 ,my bmw has a 2.8 straight and dwarfs the engine in this altezza . im 100% sure its the 207hp modle, unless anyones gona tell me theres 2 types of power units in the 4 cylinder engine??
