Is200se or is200 sport for drifting

Can anyone help i have a £1000 budget for a Japanese car I am preferably after a is200se as i can't find a decent sport for under a grand I know these have different diffs. Can the is200se be used for drifting and can you turn the traction control off on them. Or do I have to get the diff welded bare In mind this is going to be my daily drive as well.

A lot of people have been drifting standard is200's so maybe go for a basic S and spend the extra on a diff

I'm doing the same with mine, it's gonna be drifted but also used daily, I'm gonna buy another diff and weld it up. Auto diffs are apparently decent for it. Market rate for diffs seem to be about £100, £30-50 for it to be welded. Go do some phat skids

Change of plans I'm gonna have just over £1500 to spend
now I've been looking at toyota altezza's with the 2.0 beams engine , do they come with a lsd or open diff cheers
