You could be really cheap and jus drill some holes in your backbox and your airbox - a very cheap (and quite frankly half-arsed) way of gettin a more 'aggressive' sound outta your motor.
Although i think these methods are commonly used by people who wear burberry check caps that defy gravity and drive Corsa 1.2 'Sports'!
No offense intended of course!!:tongue_smilie:

I was lucky to get aztecs in mint condition for a bargain, but I remember there were a few others up for grabs so you'll be able to get one easy Smile

It's really weird, the shift from 1st to 2nd (in the auto) used to be a major disappointment (anyone who's driven an auto knows there's a major flat spot there) and it used to sound awful, now though going from redline in 1st into 2nd sounds so much better!

Still think the K&N panel filter is better than all the induction kits you can buy for the is200,

Yeh you get induction roar with an induction kit but they dont seem to give the response that the k&n gives, unless you spend quite a bit on an Apexi filter for them and for the cost of the K&N its worth every penny :thumbup1:

steviewevie Induction kit. Don't think it's available for the IS200, but another induction kit should give a similar effect.

DJ Wozza Well you can't say you didn't have a chance !! :Fish:

I'd say a nice Janspeed or Blueflame cat back system will improve things a bit for reasonable £££

Lol, yeah I did and I didn't just have one offer either!

Was looking into getting a TTE exhaust as I like the way they look but they're about £200.....

I think the Janspeed is a bit quiet, not like they used to be on the old Escort 3i's etc, its on mine at the moment.

Try lifting the back of your bonnet up and removing the rubber seal at the back that will let loads of noise escape your engine bay, and free!!

I live my induction noise, but not a cheap option TBH.
