Well I've fitted the new rad and it seems to be holding its coolant. I suppose time will tell but all seems to be well at the moment.

The warning light have cleared themselves. I assume there isn't anything else that needs to be done?

To reset the ecu do you just need to pull the ecu fuse out/disconnect the battery or does it need to be done via the obd?

I've not checked the stat yet but it reaches temp fine so i dont believe there is a problem with it. Everything seems to be back to normal, im sure I'll know in the next few days if any damage has been done to the gasket so fingers crossed

Well it's covered around 50 miles now including sitting in heavy traffic and hasn't lost a drop of water, the fan cycles on/off as it should.

I reckon I've got away with it Smile

Very tempting Smile

If the wife wasnt 8.5 months pregnant I'd be up there with all the bits, tools and plenty of beer for any helpers!
