it depends i think on how much the wiring differs as well but i do agree try the super fuel 1st just incase

Refilled with super, reset the ecu, and driven 40 miles so far and no light as yet?? i know it'll take a bit to re-learn so will see how it goes :thumbup1:

Sure the reason for having a dyno is to set the car up for the changes made to the car.
So surely this should be the same when changing the engine back from a turbo mapped car back to super charged car.
Of course i could be wrong...

there is no mapping involved when putting a charger on etc

Rabster when you add a super charger the car does not need mapping so i would agree fully their.
But when it has a turbo fitted the car is then set up as a new set up because of the fuel set up and different wiring manifold etc etc.
So to get the car back to standard set up, surely it needs to be reversed.
The car would have fuel going through at a different rate with the turbo.
Another thing was the fuel pump that Bandit is using a standard or up graded pump?

Sorry not trying to be awkward just trying to help...

THe Mapping was done on a AEM FIC unit which is no longer in the car, the car is now back to standard IS200 Settings running of the standard ECU no mapping or anything...

The Fuel pump is from a later Spec is200
Injectors are normal
only difference which we have spoke about is the car has Iridium Plugs which bandit stated have behaved badly in the past it could be irrelevant or it could be lots of little things combined can throw up sensor ghosts...

Bit of an update on my problem?

Had another engine management light come on last night, car still drove fine, so checked the code and got a PO135 come up, (o2 sensor 1 bank 1) the one that controls the fuel?

Just been out to check the o2 sensor and wiring and found that the wiring has been cut through by one of the pulleys, 2 wires have been cut, so makes me wonder if that was my original fault?? and now that a 2nd wire has broken the light has come on again, and being as it's fuel related was probably the reason i got the knock sensor fault due it not adjusting the fuel mixture correctly (running lean/rich) so just got to rewire it and hopefully it's sorted

Might have to get an AFR gauge now so i can keep an eye on the fuelling, (Reads another gauge to play with for the car :laughSmile

Apart from that it seems to be running very well, and now its lowered and has the TTE arbs fitted its great fun to drive again

Yeh was bugging me mate, does sound like a reasonable reason for the knock sensor coming up as a fault,

If the fuelling wasn't being adjusted properly by the ECU it would probably make it knock due to it running lean/rich??

So will rewire it tomorrow and see how it goes? :thumbup1:
