Ive started to notice that when driving at higher speeds (motorway) that the engine seems to be louder than normal, and there is also a bit of vibration on the acceleration pedal. Overall its just not as smooth as it once was.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.

My car does the same, start with tracking and balancing. As they are pretty cheap. Then look at bigger stuff, like your wheel geo. Smile

I'll be honest I don't know bandido. Ive been driving the car nearly 2 years now though. Would any of whats mentioned make the engine sound louder though? Im quite concerned. luckily for me ive just had a small tax rebate so I should be able to fix the problem aslong as its not a £200+ problem!

does it get worse when you turn left and right at speed, changing lanes on the motorway etc then get a bit quieter when driving straight? If yes, could be a bearing. If no, probably something else.

No its the same regardless bandido, also the mpg needle has been reacting, bouncing around and if its correct im using more petrol than usual. I can normally get it to stay around 40mpg, but I was getting around 30 and below on my last drive.

Could be dino, i might to take it for a diagnostics.

But I will be getting it aligned again as it has been pulling to the left and steering wheel is just off to the right.

Think im going to change a few things just to give it some fresh life, oil, check plugs etc.
