Check the drivers side foot well fuse box mate, and see if your getting any water in there? sounds a bit like some of the problems related to water ingress to the fuse box?

i would take the trim off and unplug all the connectors and check them you'll find some might be green spray contact cleaner on them then a wee bit of spray grease job done..
