Sparkystav The FCD cuts the inlet pressure signal by a percentage right through the range, the lower the number on the dial, the more it cuts it (makes it more lean and dangerous).
The black box allows the true signal right through the range till 4.34v then it just continues to send that voltage regardless of the input voltage (inlet pressure).

Jon is that completely true? I always thought the black box 'added' signal aswell, lower down in the range to give extra fuel?
or am i thinking of the silver box? or something else different again?

Sparkystav Must be thinking of the silver box but im not sure that does either.
The black box doesn't add fuel, but because your at a higher boost pressure the ecu will send more fuel.

When directly compared to the FCD it does, not over standard though.
