I'd have to say vodafone have been great - after the problems with the HTC desire I had, they refunded my line rental while I had the faulty handset, then replaced it with the Galaxy S and dropped my line rental to £25/month as that was all I needed all with no quibbles and actually without me even asking.
To me that's great customer service

I have managed to get a good deal and phone has arrived.
