Guys what colour windows should i get on my SC430

I am not sure if i should get a lighter tint on the front side window and then either a blue or black tint on the rest.
I really don't want to worry if i am going to get stop by the men in blue.

So should i get blue or dark tint on the rear side and back screen and leave the sides front alone or go for a light blue or black light tint on the front side windows?

I think you'll pretty much need to leave the fronts alone if you don't want to have to worry about a tap on the shoulder from Mr Plod. Up to you, of course.

The official rules on tinted windows (from VOSA) are here.

Front side windows have to let in at least 70% of light. Don't forget that there will already be a light tint to the windows from the factory.

I'd do a light smoke all round, not really a big fan of different tints on different windows......

I had the standard sport tints but then added light smoke to the front, medium to rears and dark to rear screen. i also added a front gradient tint to the front.

heres a few pics to give you an idea of how it looks. When done right, diff tints across the car look fine..

as only traffic police can actually check its never normally a prob! at the last meet in wolves the police looked at it and said it looks good with no comment on the tints!

its not stupidly dark shouldnt be a prob..

however, the short answer is probably not!!

light smoke on front and medium rears would give the same effect and be legal on a car with no tint already
