Dark Samurai This is from my dads again but on the manchester server?:
thats 0.27375MB/s
so for a DVD movie, it would take you 42 minutes (DVD movie average file size 700MB)
for me it would take 1 minute 30 secs aprox

Marsdendean Well, mine is not 50MB but been looking into maybe upgrading it for £10 a month more, as i have got the Mrs a netbook for xmas, and since i'll be playing GT5 and Fifa 2011 a lot (and maybe online) i have been thinking about it.
Here is my speedtest for my 20MB broadband, and have done it 3 times, and this was the middle result.
I have nothing but praise for virgin media broadband, apart from when it went off for 2 days, and they offered me sometime like £1.21 back!!

to be honest with you mate unless you do alot of downloading, your 20mb service would do fine with all of the above, mine did, just i wanted to reduce the time it took me to download stuff, dont have much patients
also in regards to 100mb, ive registered my interest just imaging 12.5 MB/s !

There's no way my upload speed is capped at 10Mb/sec, it's 90!! And as for a ping time of 41ms...
