i would say it sounds more lamp fault maybe loose connection unless there is some kind of diagnostic sequence but im pretty sure there wont be.........

I'd get it checked out asap though in any case as you wouldn't want to do any serious damage to the box - at least phone your local dealer and see if there's an explanation for it.

I'd be inclined to think it's a problem with the gearbox but there's nothing in the manual about it.
