Thought id put a thread up for my new car seeing as ive been on the forum a little while now, used to have a 1.4 8v vw polo 6n but it was poop. A combination of buying a lemon and bad luck ended up with it looking like an absolute dog.

So basically I started shopping around for what I could afford and I've always liked these so I decided id buy one! the best part is when i got the insurance quote through it was £300 cheaper a year than my polo! So that made my mind up for me and i put a deposit on a 2000 Lexus IS200.

Thanks Smile I love the colour (when its clean and polished)

I was lucky with the charger, I got it for a little less than the going rate Smile

You bought a Lexus as a run around? are you mad? Or do you have deep pockets?

ah even better mate Big Grin
well misses is due with our baby soon and we needed a family car as the mx5 is no good lol. and looking around i like theses cars and the interior is nice also.

petrol isnt a problem as im a self employed plasterer so the car doesnt get used that often. getting an evo 6 early next year so im sure that will be worse haha!!

Ah I see your logic! There isn't much room for a baby seat in an mx5!

Ah well that will help! Mine doesn't move during the week mainly because my work pay for my travel pass so it doesn't make sense to use it although I do despise getting public transport!

At least an Evo will have the go to match the fuel consumption!

Did some odd jobs then washed and polished the car on Saturday because the car was the subject of a photoshoot.

Here's a "preview" image I've been given:
[Image: 392373_10150834388946363_692676362_10193...7464_n.jpg]

Here is a picture I took on my phone from the shoot:

Then I washed and polished the car again because I was going to a DubNortheast meet and when I woke up the car was covered in bird ****!

So I went to dubnortheast, did a bit of Streeto! And popped my wing inside out!

Street drifting is BBAAAAAADDDDDDDD MMMKAAAYYY!!

Luckily I've got a spare so its no biggie Smile

Eventful weekend all round really Big Grin
