so ive been handin round the forum for a while so i thought id pop up my wee project of me is 200 when i bought it it looked lik this
[Image: IMG-20120915-00005_zps11dae080.jpg]
was quite clean but did hav a couple of problems first of all was a relly bad shudder when braking so i assumed it was a warped disc so thought while i was at it id upgrade discs and pads for some grooved discs and fast road pads..... but luckily before that happened the exhaust just after the silencer decided to fall off so had to hit ebay and got one of the cheapy japspeed rip offs on ebay for lik 120 quid it was first to arrive
[Image: IMG-20120919-00006_zps812b386f.jpg]
went on relly easily did it one mornin before work only problem was tht the tip was hangin bout 3 or 4 inch below the bumper so took it off again couple of days later and bent the hangers up abit so ended up lik this
[Image: IMG-20130208-00047_zpse3fcdc96.jpg]
i think looks sorted now i must admit, so adventually discs arrived and while i was ordering them also decided to get bits to make up me own induction kit and the car was sitten on cut spring which im not a fan of so also picked up some lowering springs, so this all arrived
[Image: IMG-20120924-00010_zpscf91cfe7.jpg]
got to work putting this all on then once all on braking shudder had gone b ut of course couple of weeks later the dreaded sticky caliper hit, changed first one for a cheap scrapy but and was sorted for bout a week then other one decided to lock up and tried refurbing it but made a hash of it and ended up pissin brake fluid all over driveway so decided to bite the bullet and get 2 new calipers wernt bad for lik 60 quid each from local factors. So now calipers r all sorted and grooved discs and fast road pads and stops relly well, got induction kit on and while i was bored painted couple of bits in the engine bay
[Image: IMG-20130208-00052_zpsf62d9892.jpg]
fairly helps the look i would say, next thing was i needed to get some bluetooth in the car and while i was at it decided incorporate a couple of oil gauges in and car was due a gd service so did oil and added a t piece in were the original oil pressure signal came from so ive got and oil pressure and temperature gauge below the headunit also got wee drift gear knob on the go as well
[Image: IMG-20130208-00051_zps4b19f39d.jpg]
well was messing about a t junction and lost it abit so this happened
[Image: IMG-20130127-00033_zps76dbb297.jpg]
got abit out of hand i think lol so this gave me relly gd excuse to buy nice set of wheels of course lol and while i was waiting painted couple more bits including lights and front grille, as it was weird grey which relly didnt suit rest of the grilles on the car so all looks alot btr now anyway wheels arrived and must say i was very excited to get them on
[Image: IMG-20130206-00040_zps0047285b.jpg]
looked even btr in the flesh always thought is look great with abit of dish, of course went to get them on and was a handiling, first the r et38 but still caught brake caliper holders so set of 5mm spacers sorted tht but u cudnt even get a full turn on the wheel nuts, so back again with 3mm spacers which worked just about but managed to mash 2 of the threads on the nuts so now rear 2 have a nuts missing each but te hell with it they r now on and look relly well so took a loada pics 2day
[Image: IMG-20130208-00042_zps0a484744.jpg]
wee look at grooved discs too
[Image: IMG-20130208-00045_zps49520fd1.jpg]
painted lights
[Image: IMG-20130208-00050_zps5a26e278.jpg]
lights look alot btr but ive had a while bad problem with condensation in the lights if anyone has an idea ??
any comments or criticisms welcome
