Today I have mostly been working on Ste's car.

But before that I finished cleaning the coilovers and then James arrived to collect them and the smoked fog lights.

So anyway Ste's SC cable snapped last night so we went to replace it ... Then the homemade (by someone else) throttlebody arm snapped!

... So I made him a new one! It was a tremendous piece of work if I do say so myself!

No pictures but I'm sure Ste can provide some Smile

Once we had finished those jobs we just washed both cars.

An excellent Saturday in my opinion!

Yeah, thanks for the coilovers.

Will have to see about getting that top mount sorted now. And an edfc controller bought!

Both your cars looked stunning today. Felt really bad as I haven't washed mine for ages! Look forward to nosing around them in more detail another time.

Thanks again!

No worries mate! Your very welcome!

You should have said! You could have washed it at mine! It would have taken no time at all with the 3 of us! Haha

Thanks for the kind words about the cars Big Grin

This weekend I have been doing little jobs.

These arrived early Saturday:

Big thanks to Andy Cross at Lexus Poole!
(Yes I order my parts from the opposite end of the country but service means a lot to me and my local dealerships are terrible - "WHATS YOUR VIN NUMBER!")

So anyway before:

And after:

I don't know if I mentioned this but the reason I had to do this was because a bodyshop didn't fit the original correctly and it fell off mid drive and was destroyed.

Then I did this, before:

And after:

This is another bodyshop **** up - its still not right but its better.

Then I did this, before:

And after:

My car had an aftermarket cruise control system fitted that went in the bin ages ago and this has been bugging me ever since, new part courtesy of the sick bucket.

I also test fitted my enormous intercooler, no pics, it will fit relativley easily I'm just thinking that a "perfectly" sized one would suit me better so I might sell the huge one and buy a new one. Haven't decided.

Nice little tidy up mate.

Shame you threw the cruise control away. I'd have liked to play with that.

Can you not make one out of a broom pole and an old shoe lmfao just need to wedge it against the bottom of the chair ;-)

it was **** mate, it was the same as a bicycle speedo! a magnet was attached the prop shaft and then a reader to the tunnel and then a **** motor to pull on the TB.

It didnt work very well and the motor was quite big so took up alot of room in the bay - it had to go so i could fit the SC kit.
