Stix's IS200
Stix44 Today I have mostly been working on Ste's car.
But before that I finished cleaning the coilovers and then James arrived to collect them and the smoked fog lights.
So anyway Ste's SC cable snapped last night so we went to replace it ... Then the homemade (by someone else) throttlebody arm snapped!
... So I made him a new one! It was a tremendous piece of work if I do say so myself!
No pictures but I'm sure Ste can provide some
An excellent Saturday in my opinion!

Sort of update.
For the past 3/4 days Ive been trying to get the car back on the road.
First I fitted the new injector plugs - now i had to guess which way they needed to be wired because the instructions were in Japanese and the pictures were in black and white.
So what I did was I looked at the standard injectors and plugs and assumed that the new injectors would be the same so I cut off the old plugs and fitted all of the new ones.
I refitted the charger kit (now with all SS fixings! ) - I set the fuel pressure and started the car ... it ran but with a mis every few cycles. I (wrongly) thought this was because I had wired the plugs wrong, I checked them all and they were all the same/looked fine to me.
So I thought I'd try swapping them, so I swapped them and ... it proceeded to start Det'ing its head off. I immediatley shut it down and did what every sane person would do ... send Stav a message!
Spoke to Stav and he advised me I was being a knob and the injectors were just too big to use without a map.
So I removed them and refitted the old injectors with the old plugs ... they proceeded to spray petrol EVERYWHERE!
For some reason they no longer seal inside the fuel rail, I suspect this is because the bigger injectors are ever so slightly taller than the originals and when I fitted them with the original "top hats" (thats what I call them anyway) the top hats were permenantly squashed so no longer push the standard injectors back into the fuel rail and therefore dont seal but who knows.
I then when to the sick bucket and pulled the rail, injectors and top hats and fitted them to my car and they seal perfectly ... then I found the FPR was/is/has been leaking so I sacked it off till tomorrow.
I did however fit new metal kickplates!

Much better and not bad as payment for helping fit a clutch
BIG Thanks to:
Stav - for being the walking encyclopedia as per usual and for taking the time while in the pub to help!
Jay - for coming up with some extra molex pins (that I didnt use) cos I'm an idiot and sort of broke the originals
Ste - for picking me up, taking me to mcdonalds, the sick buckets secret storage facility and then home again so I could get the parts i needed to sort mine!
All in all so far I have a properly **** weekend so far.
Lol sounds like a lot of effort mate. Hope you get the fpr sorted. Glad I could help.
