Another **** journey to work and back got home thought ******** ill unplug both lambda an boom runs sweat as probed the injectors sound tickety boo fpr seems to be pressuring ok fuel pumps wiring away but has a slight blip every now and again think ive got a slight boost leak so hopefully find that tomorrow and fix it this is doing me head in now but on the plus side bought an fitted some zenon bullbs there ****** bright
So had a fiddle today try sort me car think ive found the problem or one of so messed with the lambdas think having one on top of each other in line dont work think one is slightly masking the other so messed about an seemed to run ok so problem 1 hopefully sorted
Now problem 2 blow on me exhaust cat to silencer thanks to speed humps on me way to an from work there rattling stuff loose so took it apart so took me lambda out at that point an noticed it had stuff melted onto it so decided to look in me cat as I had anywy a sneeky fealing it wasnt likeing the turbo so heres the pickys
An after I got to poking
I did poke some more after the picture an managed to give myself a third nipple with one of them ****** screwy doodahs that hold the plastic on the under side dont copy this as
1 ****** hurts
2 youl look silly like I do
Ha ha ha ha ha
Lol I'd sack the cat off then mate! Seems faulty lmfao
It looks like the turbo has created so much heat in an already constricted CAT and its melted the core out completely!hock:
Kind of like the same effect you get when you crumple up a couple of newspaper pages for a BBQ and light it when a small breeze blows on it, it all lights up and burns a lot hotter and faster... well think of your CAT core being the news paper and the turbo the heat and wind source... that CAT is now no more than a resonating chamber all hollowed out like that there is no more core to block the exhaust gases you should take it for a drive and see how it sounds...
if you worried about emmissions maybe you shoul look at getting a high performance/ High Flow CAT
