Juddering problem
Juddering problem
Right so as the title suggests I have this juddering fault.
it only happens every now and then and normally when I accelerate it really struggles to pull as if its not getting any power from one or more cylinders.
someone suggested putting some bg44k through it so I did that but it does not seem to have made any difference.
this all began after my car was stood up for a week or so.
any idea's folks as its driving me mad ?:Chair:
most likely the duel mass as thay all judder abit as u set off from a standing start if ur not use to it u pick it as i did.if not then i would check all the air pipes as i had it when first got the car repalced the breather pipe on the under left side of the air box then checked the throttle body as it might be all gumed up with carbon under the buttfly valve.
easy way to test them is to start the car with the airbox off and the 10mm bolts off then just un plug one at a time if u un plug one and there's no sparking sound its gone. Ps if its working ital cut the engine. But saying that if it was a coil it should ping up the engine light.
you can get an electrical plug and then test them on the bench, thats what i do.
Right so I have changed the spark plugs & air filter and cleaned the throttle body.
I also ran a tank of BG44K through it and I still have problems.
the juddering/ hesitation seems to be worse under load ie up hill or under acceleration .
any ideas as its driving me nuts?
