I just checked the install diagrams for the e-Manage Ultimate, and (unsuprisingly ?) it *does* need to be wired into the injector connectors for the ECU, so as well as it perhaps being the coil packs, something maybe could have gone wrong with this wiring ?

yeah i know cause i gave Steve the wiring diagrams to fit it Wink

I'd start with the spark plugs though, a lot simpler IMHO

Il bang a new set of plugs In the car tomoro. Bugging the shite out of me as want it running sweet. Especially once it's ran in. I'm finding it hard to beleive it's coilpacks as swapped good with bad but still same faults. Not that I'm putting the scenario of changing them out of the question. Anymore input would be very appreciated.

I'd be suprised if it's the plugs because the error codes that you're getting don't seem to indicate a problem with the plugs themselves. But there's no harm trying.

they changed the camshaft position sensor while it was at nobles, do you think this could effect it not firing right?

It's possible. I wonder if there's still a problem there ?

Did it have a similar problem before they changed the camshaft position sensor ? Because I wonder if they replaced something that didn't need replacing, and there's still a problem in there somewhere ? (e.g. the wiring from the ECU as previously suggested)

Just thinking - you had a new head installed on this engine, didn't you Sam ? New to you that is (I think it was from Stav's old engine ?).
