Change of plan again. I have opted for the cheaper unit. I won this from e-bay for £108.00, so not so bad and a small gamble. Not really looking for superb sound, i needed Bluetooth connection which came with it. I also now got Ipod connection, rear camera (coming soon), DVD/CD, SD card + USB. Everything worked really well. With regards to the audio, I used my old 100 watts amplifier and 200 Watts subwoofer which seemed to have done the trick (Thanks to Wozza).

I've got a bad feeling about that head unit mate, but I do hope I'm wrong (based on budget unbranded ones from eBay usually being a pile of brown smelly stuff).

You've done some good work on installing it though, well done :thumbup1:

DJ Wozza Nice work mate, I hope the head unit is better than most bargain ones from ebay, as they don't give the best sound quality, & ultimately aren't as reliable as a major brand from the feedback I have got.

Are you going to secure the subwoofer box ?

At some point I will. Just thinking what to do with the spare tyre.:confused1:

With £108 to gamble, won't feel sorry if it fails, but at the moment that will do. Struggled a bit with removing the amplifier bypass connection, but got there at the end.
