My father has the same car with mine. It is a Silver 1999 IS200 Auto. I ordered for him a set of Sport Front Mintex brake disks (Slotted and drilled) and a set of Mintex brake pads from UK. The parts arrived today and here are some photos.

I am very interested to see the difference of these brakes in compare of the EBC brakes i have installed on my car. Both are constructed from well known UK manufacturers who are involved in motorsport. The only difference is that the Mintex brake disks and pads are cheaper in compare with the EBC.

I will write an update once the brakes are fitted on the car and have driven a few km.

Nice one Demis.
Not sure your see much in the way of stopping power between them but you will see a different level of dust build up.
Good to run two sets side by side though.

You are correct about EBC, this is the setup i have! I have noticed from my experience that EBC do not produce must dust (always comparing with OEM). Now i will be able to compare them with Mintex brakes.

I have Mintex pads on mine and the dust is terrible, they may produce less dust when fitted with Mintex pads tho:biggrin:

40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross
