Quite a few people have reported that Mintex brake pads work well, but do produce a lot of dust.

I heard that the Mintex was good for reducing the dust as I have OEM which causes me a lot of cleaning of my white wheels :Fish:

I was looking at going for mintex, I hope to have the report from you Dimis so can make a decision :thumbup1:

Where did you get your discs and pads from Dimis.

I heard the same mate, that mintex pads produce less dust than OEM. I am suprised to hear from many that they produce a lot of dust. I bought the brakes from here mate:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...TQ:GB:1123

They only disavantage from this seller is that i got the brakes after one month. He accuses that he send them by mistake to Italy instead of Greece, and i send a few emails and did a couple of calls until i got the brakes into my hands.:Bazza:

I use EBC turbo groove discs and Red Stuff pads on the front of mine, and OEM at the rear (which I will be replacng soon).
The dust produced by the front has ruined my alloys. I think because it gets hotter then the OEM stuff. So I'd be interested to see if the Mintex pads produces a more cleanable dust!
Glad I haven't got aftermarket alloys on my car! Hope you get your brakes soon Dimis, I know what its like to be waiting for bits to turn up off ebay!

Yes mate, they are real MINTEX brake disks and pads. They came in their box together with their papers.

I fitted the Mintex brake disks and pads today on my dad's car. The first thing that i noticed once i took the car for a quick drive is that they are quite like OEM. The EBC brake disks that i have on my car did a lot of noise at the beginning. Now they have started to do be quiter (after done approx 2000km). I have not tried the performance of the Mintex brakes yet since they must do a few hundred km first without hard braking so the new disks and pads "get to know each other first".
