on test drive the engine is very very very gutless and underpowered even on full chat with vvt on song it makes the right noise but is all show and no go!!
the over all drive was o.k but no better than my bmw and certainly no where near the performance i was expecting. this car has a claimed 190hp or 207 on 99 octain and tbh i just cant belive it. garys is200 seems like it has the edge over this one.
the inside and out side is ok for the age usual chips here and there.
the car has had an attempted break in straingly via the boot ,which appears to have been attacked with a scewdriver ,this wont be a cheap fix.
the history whats there. is in jap and the mot is actually out on this sunday coming not as the add sujests.
on the test drive when braking the wheel violently veers from left to right, could be rusty disks but then we did go on a very indepth test drive, enough to remove surface rust.
could at worst be bottom arm bushes or warped disk brakes.
all in all it needs lots of tlc and love and isnt the cleanst example out there.

When Japanese cars go to auction the get a condition sheet does this have one.
Cars are graded in the Auction from one to five.
The area you should look for is from 3 -4.5 the higher the grade the better....

21-04-2017, 08:40 AM #38yea defo im still abit concerned about making the move from my bmw tbh my bmw drove just as nice as this rs did but with much more oomph, my bmw would kill this alltezza round the twistys and on the straight, maybe i need to find/drive a clean example and comapre the 2 that way. my bmw cost me all but £1200 and bang for buck its gonna take one good alltezza to warrent the extra 3-4k!!
