Has anyone got a photograph, or exploded view of the Rear brake shoes inside the wheel drum (if thats the correct term to use). I am looking for one which shows the handbrake cable inside the drum , and in particular how it sits against the back plate,

Thanks:thumbup1:

I don't suppose that these diagrams help, do they ? They do show the handbrake cable in some, though not that clearly.

Thanks Stevie, Its a help, however I was hoping for a photograph showing the position of the small E shaped bracket where the cable is held on the back plate. You may recall that my brackets came off and were clattering around inside the drum. i've decided to get the spot welded back on, but want to be sure of where the fit

Yeah I remember the problem, must be frustrating that you haven't managed to get it sorted yet. I guess what you need is for someone to take a photo for you. Anyone taking their rear brakes apart at the moment ?
