Most of you now know that i've now got my old Lexus is200 sport back? :w00t:

Huge thanks to Rabster for helping me out over the last couple of weeks and making things go to plan, top man :thumbup1:

Ok so i went down to Stansted airport on Saturday afternoon on the train, Rabster picked me up and took me back to his place, where my IS200 was parked up :w00t: had a look at it and then we went for an Indian and a pint :thumbup1:

The next morning, i was up at around 4.30am and outside peeling the stickers off the bonnet, much to Rabster's surprise when he stuck his head out of the window around 6.30am  does look better but still got some to remove,

Anyway enough rambling and on to the car, we set of to the WIM meet, and parked up, had a wander and a chat to some of the members, then decided to fit the Supercharger kit, went on pretty easy as Rabster had already fitted the cradle, pulley and Intercooler, we soon got the charger in place and the pipework fitted, we didn't rush but got there in the end, :thumbup1:

Mods so far on the 1st day of re-ownership..

Empty engine bay..

Fitted..

Made the induction kit for it today, and fitted it..

Big filter sticking up..

Sport Grill sprayed and fitted...

Before..

After..

also took the carbon VVTi and alternator covers off, sanded and re-lacquered..

Can see them in this pic..

Blue Flame Stainless cat back exhaust..

Hopefully my next job will be to fit the polished rocker cover that i've been doing,
[Image: rocker1.jpg]

Then going to polish the supercharger and all pipework, Alternator, fuel rail, throttle body and anything else that will come up shiny? Also going to make some stainless bottle covers again for the PAS and Brake fluid bottles..

I've also fitted the Phillips 6000K HID kit and Polished radiator brackets, :thumbup1:

So not a bad start to the car so far, loads to do though, the bonnet might have the centre carbon wrapped for the time being, until i get some more funds together and have it resprayed, the boot lid could do with replacing due to quite a few holes in it from different spoilers being fitted? or another option was to carbon wrap the centre of the bonnet, the roof and the top of the boot lid?? but not sure what to do as yet?

Looks good mate, i remember mentioning that you wanted a powerful car and the Lexus was not the right car for you, but i think you fell in love with your last IS so you managed to get it back again. I believe it is going to be one of the nicest cars in the club.

This is such a great story, and as LB said with that sort of progress this car is going to be amazing pretty soon. Love that rocker cover, if you do that to the whole engine bay it's going to have some serious bling!
