one nil :p

Thanks John, how much should I be paying for one of those? Is it a ball ache to do myself, I know it wasn't that hard on my dad's rover, but it was very time consuming.

I was hoping it would last long enough for an engine swap to be honest, doesn't look like it will!

dalegt4 shame though, its nice to be able to find the faluts without having to buy expensive gear,

What do you class as expensive? Mine cost under a tenner, and that was a couple of years ago.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

If your gonna do the timeing belt do the water pump at the same time, due to the new belt putting more tension on the old pump as it could fail due to this!

Timing belt isn't too hard to do, even easier if you remove your rad as well, but possible without doing

Is there a guide on here? I remember seeing one somewhere.

Thanks chaps, how much am I looking at for water pump as well? I could get a whole new engine and gearbox for around 400 quid, which would also fix my oil leak.

If it wasn't "get raped by insurance companies" month, I'd probably go and buy a 1j.
