Maybe it's the feeling that he only wants to do his own car, and to be honest how long it takes to Polish stuff up, I wouldn't do it for others either!

If i started to do this for money, any parts that i do would have to be spot on for the person paying for the service, and i think i'm not good enough yet to charge for it, plus if i did it all the time i would probably get a bit fed up with doing it.

When i was out of work i just didn't have the funds to do it like i have now, and even now i have to watch what i buy? plus with being back at work full time, i have to do it in my spare time around the family etc,

Some of the parts do take me a lot of time to clean up, for instance the rocker cover in the pic's above, has taken me about 10hrs to sand down to the level its at now, and i'v still got to sand it more and then polish it

I'm doing a job at the moment for one of our members,(The rocker cover) and have done Toxo's turbo in the past, i've also got another part coming from another member to start very soon, so i don't mind doing it for our members as a lot of members have done me favours in the past :thumbup1:

Chris, again im just amazed by the work you put in. I have done some small polished parts and i understand how much work is involved in getting them to shine! I still have loads of parts on the buggy that are part polished Sad

I would love to polish up loads of stuff but i don't have the patience or time! I don't seem to have much time at all at the moment.

On another note a courier will be collecting your wiper arms and blades, and that other part we talked about, from my work tomorrow so should be with you at some point over the next week.

Did you want the thottle body and intake manifold off the lex mate?? I will be going up there to crack on with breaking the car on saturday so i can get the parts if you want???

Back to the shiny bits... Big Grin

Did a bit more on the injector rail today, but going to give it another sand down due to some parts still showing the old casting marks?

Starting to look a bit better though?
