And well done to the willing friends :thumbup1:

Know a fair bit, things i dont know il always ask questions. both my business partners are techs who love engine swaps so stuff that ive not done before is always ran past them first

Update

I finally got around to welding up the crossmember and putting in some supports, it took longer than expected! spent about 9 hours on it!! so after all that work i was diying to make sure it fitted so i lowered the engine and box in for hopefully the last time.

A lovely fit!, i bolted all the mounts up and checked the clearence. All looking good, Not silly amounts of room but nothing too close to worry!

The next process was to fit my walbro fuel pump. Arrived quite quickly and sat on the side till i had time to fit it, when that day arrived i striped out the IS fuel pump and soon realised that they had sent me the wrong walbro pump in the correct marked box. Ball ache! but got on to them and now have the right one on its way!.

I also purchased a 60mm 1.2bar external wastegate which arrived rediciously fast!! i plan to weld the flange on once ive got the downpipe sorted as space is beyond tight!

lastly i set about swapping the slave cylinder over so i now have a working clutch again and modiying the shifter as it sits about 20/30mm too far forward.

Next on the list is continue to plum in the nessecerys, chase my injectors from japan which have yet to show up and decided on what standalone EMS to use!

I was thinking about going AEM with a 2j-1j patch harness, but its about double the cost and all import only. so tax man will add to it.

haltech is another one but no PnP, Just looked at the G4 and is a very good price and quite easily avalible too. done a search of them on the 1jz and found quite alot of handy info and steps on wirring it up!

any recomended places to buy it from stav?

might give them a ring on monday, are you running the G4 storm? im guessing if you are you are running it on batch fire? cylinder 1+4 2+5 3+6? because it seems there is only four outputs for ign and inj

Yeah mate your correct on both counts,

it runs the engine, aircon, tacho, launch control, everything, and still has loads of free outputs left lol
