Looking good Sam, are you keeping the stock inlet manifold?

good evening all, Today i cracked on with the IS200 installing a fuel return line and removing the fuel pressure regulator which is located in the tank and moving it too a adjustable one in the engine bay.

In theory its quite simple but putting it into practice its never that easy! I ordered up what i needed from Earls performance which arrived very fast.

I then removed the fuel pump again and created a return system in the tank and modified the FPR.

after that i mounted the braided hose all the way down to the engine bay ready for the new FPR, its a bit long atm so once i have my FPR i will cut it down and put the end on again so its tidy.

Another job complete Smile

ive also somehow taken on a 2nd project for myself, You may of read above somewhere that i was going to be painting a VW Caddy for a customer, Due to financial reasons i brought this off him with the paint he had already got for very sweet deal! the plan is to use this as my daily as the 106 diesel i brought bit the dust not long ago after the snow so expect some progress reports of that soon if your intrested in bodywork/restoration type shenanigans!! Smile

not much as happened in the way of progress. been very busy with other peoples cars! haha.

The G4 storm is now in the UK and my tuner will be down next week to start installing it. ive also booked to have the exhaust done on the 11th of april... long i know but hes great and well priced. started fabricating up a return oil line for the turbo as it has to be mahoosive acording to holset and nothing yet ive been happy with. also stripped the 1jz FPR and replaced it with a adapter ready for the new FPR which im yet to buy lol!

soooooo close though now.

as for the caddy. well ive got her runing properly and replaced some parts which where well worn. the plan is to tax it this weekend and drive it about till the lexus is done then paint it. here it is in a sorry state. the previous owner started the panel work to save money. But it needs stripping and doing properly.

i done a spray out card of the bentley colour i was supplied with the van ive now grown to like it. Its Bentley Quartzite.

done loads recently!!

Got my oil return up to a standard im happy with, its mahoosive but should do the job:

Fitted my Adjustable FPR, Reloclated the power steering bottle as needed the room for pipework, Plumed in majority of vacum lines and fitted the bonnet ready for shipping off to have the exhaust done.

You can see the FPR here:

I didnt have to wait long, about 3 days till my exhaust system was done, its 3" turbo back the whole way, i also had a larger inside bore backbox made so there is no restriction. Ive had it coming out at a slight angle too. if im lighting flames out the back i want to see them haha!!!

I then started heat wrapping the downpipe!, reduced the length of the oil feed and put the turbo blanket on.

Next couple of days im going to finish off a few hoses, fluid and water it up then its got to be sent away for EMS! excited!
