IS300 Running Costs- 1 Year On
I'm getting about 310 miles from 60L which equates to 23mpg.
edit: IS200 figures.

Phil - I'd definitely be better off with either a 2j or a v8, the 1gfe just doesn't have the grunt to cruise around at low rpm.
James S I must be doing something right then, I get 340-350 out of a tank. Thought I had a heavy right foot too! Lol!
Anyone know how much different a is300 is on fuel?

el_bandido well I usually find the amount of miles I get from a tank is a good indicator of how wrong things are going
Plus I've been keeping track of it while adding various modifications.

I've just done my first full tank in my IS200, 2002 55k on the clock, I got 381 miles and the light was on for about 5 miles before I went to the station to fill up. 95% of it on motorways.
Most of my miles in a week are motorway, 50 mile round trip. I tend to take it relatively easy back n forth to work, its the weekend urban and rural driving that I haven't tried yett.
I had a private game with myself in the celica to try and get 400 on a tank, did it about 3 times.
As it's only cost a tenner more to fill the IS compared to the Celica, I'm happy with the petrol consumption.
How truthful is it that a sports cat back system will give better consumption on mways?
