Engine Management Light (Error P0135)
I am having a bit of trouble with my IS200, I keep getting an error code, P0135 Bank 1, Sensor 1 heater circuit malfunction.
The sensor was replaced with an OEM part by my mechanic. I took the car back to him to get the fault code read, much to both our surprise that it is the same fault code again. He did resistance check on all of the ports and the sensor, the grounding, etc...
He turned around to me and said that there is no reason for the fault code to have come on again. Reset it and after a long motorway cruise its back on again.
My IS200 is a '99 T reg with high miles, 160k. I have looked after it, however it is due a new set of spark plugs as it is running a bit rough on idle (spark plugs changed four years ago/35000 miles ago)
I have seen other threads around with people who have had similar problem with no real solution offered. Any help is appreciated - thanks
