Well with thanks to the mail man, I wasn't finished with my updates today

Fitted....

Sticks out nicely with my driving position....

Wheel off....

I am one very happy chap. She is now a lot more secure than before, not that I need to worry about it in my area of the World, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

Back again.........

After some time away saving come money for our holiday to California and a stag do in Poland, it's time to have a little update....

Finally received my parts from Japan, certainly not overnight!!....

Genuine Toyota part though....

The little solenoid that needs replacing....

Another big box containing my LS4 calipers....

Old calipers removed....

All fitted....

Well it's time for another update and although I am still wrestling with the LS400 calipers (see thread on main page), I had some parcels turn up today.....

Well I'm back after a little time away from the car focussing on other things such as the house and the new puppy which is on his way.

In my absence I have fitted my new wheels (after a year of having them sit in the gym at home!). I have also changed the spring rates on my coilovers, but apart from that the little car has sat there patiently waiting for her turn. Items have been turning up in the post for the next modification, but that's staying underwraps until I can do a big DIY and addition to the 'project thread'.

So, onto images of today after fitting and a run in the sun to make sure all is well....

Met up with a friend in his M3 earlier in the week. With the exception of adjustable camber arms front and rear, no more updates have materialised. California in two and a bit weeks, so the car's on hold.

The only problem I am getting at the moment with my car is that the front upper Megan arms interfere with a section of the inner arch. Anyone else had this problem with Megan arms? I don't believe it is the normal problem of the car being too low and the arms hitting the chassis. The Megan arms have a large top section for the camber adjustment. I've had a little search but not found much on the subject. Thanks.

So I'll post a load of pictures but I managed to pick up some Toyota wind deflectors, changed the colour of my grill and gave the car a good machine polish....

I also picked up an air ride set up and a bumper with a TTE lip already mounted....

The bumper is currently at my mates garage getting worked on. All holes filled including headlight washer jet holes....

I've also been busy on the air ride set up and below is a rough story line in pictures, but I decided to use the spare wheel well (don't run with a spare) for the install to sit, with a perspex viewing panel.

Took me over a week to do right, but happy with how it came out as this is not something I'd attempted before.

MDF sheet to sit in place of old trunk floor (stronger and more ridgid)....

The main boxed area of the install where the tank, compressor and manifold will sit....

I decided to wrap the tank rather than paint....

After carpeting the boxed area....

Everything in place waiting for the rest of the install to be completed....

Well she's all but done!!

Air ride went on over the last two days, a hard two days getting it exactly where I wanted it.

I messed up with the ride height on the fronts so I need to adjust those tomorrow so that they hit the same height as the rears 'all up'....

'Aired out' I'm getting the standard upper ball joints resting on the arch, but once I have the TTE lip on with lip extension, I have a feeling this height will be perfect. I know some push for the laying frame look, but as it currently sits, the exhaust is a couple of mm off the floor anyway, so I wouldn't want to push it much lower....

That's it up to date. So I'll just post some recent pics of it. Does anyone know how to delete a post because I cannot see an option for it? Thanks.

Sparkystav Looking good mate!

Did they sell many GS430's over here? To be honest I don't think I've seen one before (lots of 300's though)

Hey dude. I don't know how many they sold. You don't see many kicking around and I've only ever seen one other modified 430 in the UK (in person).
